This area of the country is known for lakes, rolling hills, and pine trees. Within 30 minutes of downtown Mount Pleasant, you can be on the shores of Lakes Bob Sandlin, Cypress Springs and Monticello. Spend the weekend on the water enjoying fishing at its finest. Camp and explore the trails in Lake Bob Sandlin State Park.
You may also want to know that Mount Pleasant is home to Priefert Manufacturing who is the largest producer of ranch and rodeo equipment in the world. We also proudly wear the title of “Trailer Capitol” because two of the nation’s biggest trailer manufacturers call Mount Pleasant home.
